Welcome Warrior

If you’ve landed here, maybe you’ve felt it too — that silent war no one saw, the pain you had to survive quietly.

I’m a GenX woman who grew up feral in a world that gave me a mix of survival skills and trauma.

But GenX childhood? It gave us skills. We raised ourselves. We became tough, resilient, and uncomplaining — not because life was gentle, but because we had no choice. Sure, we got traumatized along the way — who didn’t? But we survived. We adapted.

As a child, I was part of a research project following C Section birth children. That’s how my dyslexia was diagnosed early — pre-school, in fact.

But the rest? The traits that pointed to something more? Those were brushed off or folded into the dyslexia label. My parents were told to “watch and wait.” So every quirk, struggle, or sensitivity I had was seen through one lens: dyslexia.

It wasn’t until much later that I started to understand I was neurodivergent — likely ADHD too — and that these weren’t flaws.
They were superpowers.
And the awakening showed me I wasn’t on the wrong path—I was on another one.
Now, I walk the Feral GenX Warrior’s Way.

I’ve lived through coercive control that went way beyond emotional abuse — it was life-threatening. I was gaslit, isolated, stripped of my identity.

I also survived the unimaginable: losing both of my parents within nine days.

That kind of grief cracks something open. It shook me to my foundation — and somehow, it also woke something ancient inside me.

I got out. Not just alive — but awakening.

And when a GenXer burns out, you better believe they fought with everything they had.

This blog is a space for truth.
For healing that isn’t soft and sanitized.
For the fierce, messy, beautiful journey of reclaiming your life.

I’m not a guru. I’m not offering perfect answers.
I’m just walking the Feral GenX Warrior’s Way — one step at a time — and sharing what I’ve learned in case it helps someone else.

Here, I’ll share my story, the tools that helped me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the spiritual path that rose up under my feet when I had nothing left.

If you’re healing, rising, remembering who the hell you are — you’re in the right place.
